Built in 1961, Central Christian Church has seen years of growth and years of decline, but has always been a stalwart to the community. Not only the community at large, but of its own congregational community of believers. Its members have believed in each other and given generously to the support of all the ministries, missions and programs over the fifty years since it was first built and dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. As many churches throughout our nation have seen the decline in church membership, putting a strain on the ability to see substantial growth and its ability to keep up with the spiraling costs of living and maintenance. Most American churches face the prospect of having to close its doors or make drastic cutbacks. The church needs its faithful members more than ever in this new age and to continue their monetary giving and especially keep their faith in the good works that we all know shows to our Creator that His church is at the very least well and alive.
