Keep Central Christian Church in the News

The job of communicating at Central Christian Church is a team effort. It involves EVERYONE! They all report to the editor of The Visitor who writes most of the articles for this monthly newsletter. The current editor is Linda Gallagher who is doing an excellent job after Ruth Anne Pearce stepped down.
Important members of the team are The Reverend Dr. David Chambers, Youth leader Jed Cook, Evangelism leader Tom Whaley, Graphics editor Raelene Wilson, distribution editor Linda Linfoot, and webmaster, Dan Miller.

Pastor David writes an inspirational article each month, and lists sermon topics for the next month.

Jed writes about youth activities that let adults know how important young people are to the future of the church.

Dan puts it on the website. He, also, writes information about the many teams who work on projects or have other jobs in the church.

Anyone can submit an article for publication in The Visitor. The article should be about something of interest to all the members of Central Christian Church. It will be read carefully by the editor and printed if appropriate. The article may sometimes be shortened because of space limitations.

Publicity for Central Christian Church is more than writing a monthly newsletter. When events of community interest are planned at the church, briefs are sent to the local newspaper. There is, also, an ad in the local telephone book.
Linda prints The Visitor and the mailing labels, while a team of volunteers folds and readies the newsletter for mailing.

Pastor David emails The Visitor to congregation members and other interested people.
Tom encourages everyone to reach out and bring more people to a personal relationship with Christ.
